Hi, my name is Liza!! I am a resident of Trophy Club, a wife, mom, dog owner, and an all around animal lover. I currently work part time as a radiographer in a children's hospital. I enjoy my job, however it is not my passion. About 13 years ago I worked as a dog walker and pet sitter while living in VA. To this day, I tell people that it was the best job I have ever had. It has been a dream of mine since then to start my own business, but somehow life always got in the way.
I have been a volunteer with two different dog rescues over the past 10 years. We have taken in 10 foster dogs and adopted 4 rescues of our own. I have come across many different personalities and anxieties over the years. I understand that not all pets curl up and nap while you are away. Some will get into things they shouldn't, some will hide in fear, and others will get so depressed that they don't even want to eat. Whatever your pets anxieties and needs are, I can handle it. My main concern is your pets happiness and well being while you are away. If I need to sit on the floor and hand feed him, that is exactly what I will do!!
Aside from my volunteer work and my time working as a pet sitter, I have owned pets my entire life. I was raised with indoor cats and birds. My brother had two tarantulas which were not my favorite, but I did take on the responsibility of caring for them when he joined the Marines. I have owned large dogs for the past 13 years. I am one of those "crazy animal lovers" you hear about who is always advocating to help animals in need and signing petitions to enforce harsher punishment against animal abusers. I can assure you that if I am given the privelage to care for your pets, they will be loved and cherished as if they were my own.
